Dragon Coin Necklace

"Fairy tales are more than true.  Not because they tell us dragons exist but because they tell us dragons can be beaten." 

These Tibetan coins were manufactured from province to province.  Each province had it’s own design, but always included a dragon. Dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers, particularly control over water, rainfall, typhoons, and floods. The dragon is also a symbol of power, strength, and good luck. These coins were not currency of China, but were used to trade with Spanish ships for goods.
